5G

1 report
5G is a computing technology built from algorithms, software systems, data structures, interfaces, and operational constraints. Performance is judged through scalability, system architecture, and network protocol, distinguishing laboratory demonstrations from reliable use outside controlled settings.

Scientific coverage devoted to 5G addresses system architecture; protocols and interfaces; and performance and reliability. One line of support comes from independent implementation, and a separate test comes from benchmarks; together they clarify protocols and interfaces, but the result is bounded by the possibility that results can depend on workload, hardware, configuration, and threat model.
