Deforestation

1 report
Deforestation is an environmental phenomenon identified through monitoring, field observations, experiments, and ecological responses. Current understanding relies on environmental driver, temporal trend, and monitoring indicator, with uncertainty tracked across measurement, classification, and reconstruction.

Current work on Deforestation is assessed through temporal trend; monitoring indicator; and sources and pathways. Conclusions concerning temporal trend remain tied to long-term monitoring, field measurements, and transparent methods; the evidence cannot remove the concern that uneven sampling and multiple interacting causes can complicate attribution.
